Description	Laura is witty and smart, and one of the things I loved about her is that when she's faced with danger, she actually tries to fight back. She's strong, but at the same time, vulnerable and maybe even naive. It makes for a great complexion. The storyline is fantastic, and all the dialogue is great. The journey she takes is one in which she discovers a world she had been completely oblivious to, one filled with supernatural powers and excitement. And danger. Oh boy, is there a lot of danger. Like I said, I don't want to spoil the book, so I won't go much deeper in the plot, but I loved how the author dropped hints about the world that Laura is discovering for herself. And we get to go on the ride along with her.
